Home that felt as though it was just mine
College, the first time my family couldn’t have lived with me. I’m not sure I can write everything I've learnt - not just yet.
Where: The Basement
When: I eat
Who: I can’t name
What: my 100 year old house

"In the pots of boiled eggs that are being made for me...In the little bites of their granola bars, the invitations to their houses to share a snack they know I’d love, the long walks in their busiest times to let me speak my heart - the people I’ve surrounded myself have shown me that a harsh winter has only brought out the warmest parts of their hearts.....Even when eating has become a little unpleasant, my heart is close to full."
- conclusion of Lesson 9, "Stop. Your plate has been too full."

A dedication for the food I've cooked the past year, only because of those who encouraged me to. And of course, an appreciation for all the food and hope they've given me.
